I love studying black history so my image is from the Harlem Renaissance. This image is called Drawing in two colors by Winold Reiss. At first glance, it makes me think of that time when art and music was an essential part of their cultural. Many artists emerged from that time period. So I think image depicts how life was for African Americans back then, as they would go out to clubs, dancing, sing, play music as a way to enjoy life in their own way. I choose the letter "R" to mean rhythm.
