Class Calendar/WCTC Trip

It was really cool to do a class collaboration and make a calendar. After voting on what the concept would be, we finally ended up making movie posters as our monthly images. I wanted and got April and November. For April I knew immediately what the design would be, but it took me awhile to decide on what I would be for November. Eventually I figured it out and got this is what I came up with:

The trip to WCTC was very informational and interesting. I think their printing equipment is awesome and I definitely wish we had it as well.
The two machines that stood out to be was the die-cut and digital printer. Those would be the ones I used all the time if I could.

Milwaukee Perceptual Mapping Assignment

I was the only one in class to choose this option as my final project. I like discovering what is around me and point out the unknown/unseen. I will be exploring the area between Silver Spring and Hampton with the crossroad being Milwaukee River Parkway. From Silver Spring there's mostly residential area, with quiet neighborhood leading to the park with a river/lake and plenty of trees. Then it ends at Hampton Ave.  with a busy road and another side of the park. I'm going to be documents what I experience through my five senses, collect artifacts, and take photos of the area.
I still have initial work to do, but I think I'm off to a good start.

These are my three designs for my rebranding of a Rwandan Stone Creek Coffee bag.
